Midnight Marshall Scene
01:39
|

I sat on the couch across from you. As you explained that somewhere you had lost it. It was a terrible noise, and I knew that our hearts no longer intertwined.
But please don't let that be.
Please don't let that be, how you remember me.
Those (four) month just crawled on by, but they now seem so far removed. I'm sorry for the night I filled my blood with Jameson, and let it all out on this midnight Marshall scene.

Alabaster
04:02
|

You gave me those eyes, through those glasses that disappear beneath that beautiful, but slightly disheveled, self-cut hair. And my guts spilled out all across the floor.
Our livers were floatin' in this bar light softly glowin'.
I was hopin' you'd come home with me.
So I could swim in your alabaster skin.
That our mothers do claim to be a sin.
So I could swim in your alabaster skin
I'll fall in love all over again.
Then the night found us in this kitchen scene
Everyone around just talking, we were giving glances
remembering what they mean.
Our livers were floatin' in this kitchen softly glowin'.
I was hopin' you'd come up the stairs with me.
So I could swim in your alabaster skin.
That our mothers do claim to be a sin.
So I could swim in your alabaster skin
You can tear this heart right out again

Seawall

The carnival lights danced up, out, and over the seawall. This town hasn't changed since the last time found us here. We walked the long way to the gates. We walked the long way to give the conversation time.
At first glance it seems as if everything's the same.
Until smaller details focus in, and we're struggling just to remember the names.
From the top of this Ferris wheel I wonder, "What's kept me keeping this distance with nothing less than selfishness? Was I really running from the heat? Because I found the coldest retreat."
We stared out and across the bay.
I wish I had something to say.
We spent all this time trying to make it fit.
We spent all of this time, just trying to make it fit.
But, these dirty streets and Mexican heat took its wear.
Dirty streets and Mexican heat took its wear on me.
We stared out and across the bay.
I wish I had something to say.
You knew just what to say.

Forget It, I'm Out!
01:53

It's o.k.
It's alright.
I'm going to put the Rockies between you and I
Cause I'm goin' to where it's hardly ever snowing.
I'm goin' just as far away from you.
I'm goin' to where it's hardly ever snowing.
I'm going to forget, forget about you.
